Simon Stijnen Portfolio¶
This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
Getting Started¶
First, run the development server:
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
Environment Variables¶
This project uses environment variables for configuration, which are stored in the .env file.
Key environment variables:
NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_NAME: The name of the website/authorNEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL: The URL of the websiteNEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_DESCRIPTION: Description of the site for SEONEXT_PUBLIC_AUTHOR_NAME: The author's nameNEXT_PUBLIC_AUTHOR_EMAIL: Contact email addressNEXT_PUBLIC_GITHUB_URL: GitHub profile URLNEXT_PUBLIC_LINKEDIN_URL: LinkedIn profile URLNEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID: Google Analytics ID (optional)
For development, the .env file contains default values. No additional environment files are needed.

This project uses Prettier with Tailwind CSS class sorting. The configuration ensures consistent code style and automatically sorts Tailwind classes in a logical order.
See the Linting & Formatting documentation for more details.
